Liz Mendez is a creative director, designer, fashion stylist, and luxury vintage accessories buyer with a glittering career that has seen her revolutionise the global party scene, whilst building a star-studded career in the fashion world, boasting a contacts book that reads like a who’s who of the global elite.
Splitting her time between London and Ibiza, Liz’s infectious flair sees the gifted creative deliver campaigns spanning from music and event production, to festival commissions, fashion styling, and even developing her own ranges. Liz collaborates with the most innovative names from across the creative industries, inspired by her extensive travels, love of music, contemporary art, interior design and literature.
Her fusion of pioneering but vintage glamour, fantasy, statement and modern day cool, crescendo in a striking and instantly identifiable style. It is this style sensibility that has seen Liz rack up an unrivalled list of clients including Beyonce, Rita Ora, Jaime Winstone, Paloma Faith, Jesse J, Nelly Furtado, Lily Allen, All Saints, Jess Glynn and Cara Delevingne, Alfie Allen, Joel Compass plus the fashion world’s next gen – Karlie Kloss, Amber Le Bon, Suki Waterhouse and Tali Lennox, Kate Stewart, Cora Corre, Ash Stymest, She also creatively spearheaded the All Saints girls’ comeback, directing the looks for their album, festival shows, TV appearances, videos and more.
Despite the A-list clamour for her creative services, Liz has found time to establish The Gypset Diary, her own fashion label coveted by the likes of Kelis, Ella Eyre and Cassy. 2017 also saw her co-found WM Visions, a creative design, brand and image consultancy specialising in music and fashion.
A long-standing powerhouse on the party circuit, Liz is the worldwide art director for Cocoon, one of the best parties in the world. She has also cast her magic across campaigns for Cirque de Soleil, Boogie Wonderland at Heart Ibiza, Hot since 82 night Labyrinth at Pacha, and Paradise at DC10. Her own high octave glamour Disco party Show Pony and was the founder of underground Kubicle.
If this wasn’t already head-spinning enough, the natural multi-tasker has made a runaway success of LMV, Liz’s vintage range which has been used in music videos, short films, catwalk shows and advertising virals, alongside being published in titles including Schon Magazine, Wonderland Magazine, Tank, Another Magazine, Hunger, Dazed & Confused, Russian Vogue, Teen Vogue, Elle, Tatler, Sunday Times Style, ES Magazine, Six, Grazia, aMuse, Nakid Magazine,The Arcadia Online and Lucys Magazine.
Meanwhile, her styling and accessories have been in demand from the likes of De La Vali, Issa, Dancing Leopard, Joanne Stoker, Issa, plus countless music videos, short films, catwalk shows and advertising virals, including Nick Knights SHOWstudio, Rankin’s Hunger TV and she styles the fashion editorials for the Ibiza publication BMI Magazine.
