Emma started painting at the age of ten, starting with still lifes inspired by her childhood environments. Throughout her adolescence she continued to paint and draw using different media to create sculpture and textured sketchbooks. She left school at 18 to study Magazine and Publishing Design at the London College of Communication.
Various artistic movements/stimuli inform and inspire her work; Salvador Dali, Picasso, Conrad Roset, Wim Crouwel and Sarah Lucas are a few. Emma spent time travelling through the Amazon rainforest and deems this challenging but beautiful experience as a significant influence on her work.
She now divides her time between London and Ibiza working on illustration, painting and graphic design projects.
